A Novel Molecularly Imprinted Potentiometric Sensor for the Fast Determination of Bisoprolol Fumarate in Biological Samples

Summary: A molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) was synthesized for selective quantification of bisoprolol fumarate (BF) in various samples, showing a Nernstian response with high recognition power. The MIP-based carbon paste electrode (CPE) exhibited excellent selectivity, recovery percentage, and comparable results to those obtained from the conventional HPLC method.

Summary: Promising ICPEs have been fabricated for selective detection of CIN.HCl, either in pure form or in co-formulated pharmaceutical preparations. By modification with ion pairing agents, the developed sensors showed superior performance characteristics, displaying fast, linear, and stable response for the CIN.HCl drug over a wide concentration range.
