Selenium and mercury balance in sea bream obtained from different living environments in Turkey: a risk assessment for the consumer health

Summary: The study revealed that the highest level of selenium was found in soil ponds sea bream, while the highest mercury concentration was detected in wild species sea bream. Risk assessment conducted with Se-HBV showed positive values for each group of sea bream.
