Impact assessment of river dust on regional air quality through integrated remote sensing and air quality modeling

Summary: This study focused on the negative effects of river dust emissions on regional air quality and human health risks. It also evaluated the impact of different meteorological conditions on PM10 diffusion and health risks near estuary areas in central Taiwan. The results suggest that river dust emissions during both wet and dry seasons significantly increase PM10 concentrations, with certain weather conditions having considerable influence on PM10 diffusion and health risks.
