Anisotropic star models in the context of vanishing complexity

C. Arias et al.

Summary: In this study, three physical general relativistic anisotropic models were constructed based on the complexity definition for static and self-gravitating objects, with the aim of fulfilling the vanishing complexity condition to close the system of Einstein field equations. The analysis indicates that the studied models are feasible and stable under the chosen set of parameters. Additionally, models such as P _perpendicular to = 0 and Consenza's anisotropy models that do not meet the expected conditions are also discussed.

Charged anisotropic fluid sphere in comparison with its uncharged analogue through extended geometric deformation

M. Zubair et al.

Summary: In this article, a known charged isotropic Durgapal IV solution is extended to its anisotropic version using the extended geometric deformation (EGD) approach. The physical properties of the anisotropic stellar model are studied and compared with its uncharged anisotropic analogue. The results show that the anisotropic stellar model is stable for a larger range of the coupling constant in the presence of electric charge, and the effects of anisotropy are diminished near the stellar surface.

Stellar models with like-Tolman IV complexity factor

J. Andrade et al.

Summary: In this work, stellar models are constructed based on the complexity factor as a supplementary condition to close the system of differential equations arising from Gravitational Decoupling. The assumed complexity is a generalization of the well-known Tolman IV solution, with various seed solutions used for the study. The physical acceptability of the models is studied using reported compactness parameters of SMC X-1 and Cen X-3, along with a discussion on aspects related to density ratio.

An anisotropic version of Tolman VII solution in f(R, T) gravity via gravitational decoupling MGD approach

Hina Azmat et al.

Summary: In this work, an anisotropic version of the well-known Tolman VII isotropic solution was developed using the gravitational decoupling by minimal geometric deformation (MGD) approach in f(R, T) gravity framework. The field equations were separated into sections for f(R, T) and the additional source phi ij. The viability of the solution was checked by considering observational data of three compact star models and discussing thermodynamical properties analytically and graphically.

Hairy black holes by gravitational decoupling

J. Ovalle et al.

Summary: In this study, black holes with hair represented by generic fields surrounding the central source of the Schwarzschild metric were examined. It was found that under certain conditions, the energy conditions can be preserved and a new mechanism to evade the no-hair theorem was provided. A non-trivial extension of the Reissner-Nordstrom black hole with a simple horizon structure was discovered as a direct application of this research.

A perturbative approach to the time-dependent Karmarkar condition

Megandhren Govender et al.

Summary: In this work, a perturbative approach is used to study the gravitational collapse of a shear-free radiating star. The collapse starts from an initial static core satisfying the time-independent Karmarkar condition and eventually evolves into a quasi-static regime. The gravitational behavior of the star is determined by solving the time-dependent Karmarkar condition along with the boundary condition. The model undergoes rigorous tests for regularity, causality, and stability.

S. K. Maurya et al.

Summary: This article discusses the study of charged anisotropic solutions in the background of gravitational decoupling through the minimal geometric deformation approach. The authors emphasized on the determination of the decoupler function and presented a graphical representation for the physical and astrophysical viability of the solution. The solution's constants were obtained using the well-known Reissner-Nordstrom solution.

Ultracompact stars with polynomial complexity by gravitational decoupling

M. Carrasco-Hidalgo et al.

Summary: In this study, an ultracompact star configuration is constructed using the Minimal Geometric Deformation approach within the framework of Gravitational Decoupling. The complexity factor is employed as a complementary condition to solve the system of differential equations. It is demonstrated that for a polynomial complexity, the resulting solution can be matched with two different modified-vacuum geometries.

Spherically symmetric anisotropic charged solution under complete geometric deformation approach

S. K. Maurya et al.

Summary: A new systematic approach to finding exact gravitationally decoupled anisotropic spherical solutions in the presence of electric charge is presented using the complete geometric deformation methodology. The study applies well-known mimic approaches and equation of state to determine deformation functions and discusses the physical properties and stability of the solution. Predictions for radii, mass-radius ratio, and thermodynamic observables for compact objects under different decoupling parameters are also provided.

Braneworld-Klein-Gordon System in the Framework of Gravitational Decoupling

P. Leon et al.

Summary: In this study, we apply the MGD-decoupling method in two different ways to analyze the effective field equations of the Randall-Sundrum braneworld coupled with a Klein-Gordon scalar field. We compare the behavior of the new solutions obtained through this method with those obtained without coupling to the scalar field directly from the Randall-Sundrum braneworld.

Exploring Physical Properties of Gravitationally Decoupled Anisotropic Solution in 5D Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet Gravity

S. K. Maurya et al.

Summary: This paper presents two new classes of solutions for compact objects in the framework of five-dimensional EGB gravity, utilizing the CGD formalism to generate anisotropic models from known isotropic solutions. The physical tests show that contributions from CGD suppress effective pressure while enhancing effective density and mass of the compact object, with the effects being modified by the EGB coupling constant. The differences in deformation functions between CGD and MGD predict varying stellar characteristics such as mass-to-radius ratios and surface redshifts.

Minimally deformed anisotropic stars by gravitational decoupling in Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity

S. K. Maurya et al.

Summary: This article develops a theoretical framework for studying compact stars in Einstein gravity with the Gauss-Bonnet combination. The physical properties of these stars are analyzed in relation to the Gauss-Bonnet coupling strength, and an anisotropic version of the interior solution in Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity is established. Furthermore, two different solutions compliant with physically acceptable criteria have been reported, and analytical and graphical presentations of the solutions are provided in detail.

Gravitational decoupling for axially symmetric systems and rotating black holes

E. Contreras et al.

Summary: The study successfully generates rotating black holes with primary hair by deforming spherically symmetric seed solutions, and explores the impact of surrounding fluid on the Kerr black hole solution. The results demonstrate that a rotating and charged black hole may share the same horizon as Kerr's, Schwarzschild's, or Reissner-Nordstrom's, revealing possible observational effects of surrounding matter on black holes.
