Decision-making about participation in colorectal cancer screening in Sweden: Autonomous, value-dependent but uninformed?

Summary: The study investigated differences in knowledge, values, preferences, and involvement between screening participants and non-participants in relation to colorectal cancer and screening decision. Results showed that non-participants were more uncertain about their CRC risk and had lower awareness of the benefits of screening in reducing CRC mortality. Decision-making factors varied between the two groups.
