Synthesis of Isostearic Acid/Dimer Fatty Acid-Based Polyesteramide Polyol for the Development of Green Polyurethane Coatings

Summary: Bio-based polyurethane coatings were prepared using novel branched isostearic acid and long chains dimer fatty acid. The results showed that the coatings exhibited good hydrophobicity, flexibility, and impact resistance, with PU-T coating showing higher thermal, mechanical, and coating properties compared to PU-H coating.
