Three distinct phases of liver injury were identified, with potential biomarkers screened out for classifying and diagnosing liver damage progress. This study not only established the time-response relationship of PM2.5 exposure but also provided insights for toxic injury stages classification and prediction in mice liver, laying a foundation for future interventions to prevent oxidative damage caused by PM2.5.
