Jensen-information generating function and its connections to some well-known information measures

Summary: In this study, we investigate the information generating function measure and introduce two new divergence measures. It is shown that well-known information divergences such as Jensen-Shannon, Jensen-extropy, and Jensen-Taneja measures are special cases of this new approach. Additionally, the information generating function for residual lifetime variables is also discussed.

Quantification of the Direct Solar Impact on Some Components of the Hydro-Climatic System

Summary: This study focuses on unraveling the complexity of the direct sun-climate link by using a chain of methods, examining the causal relationship between external factors and hydro-climatic variables. It found non-linear links of solar-terrestrial influences on the hydro-climate system and promising results related to solar impact on terrestrial phenomena in the space-time domain.
