Many-Objective Gradient-Based Optimizer to Solve Optimal Power Flow Problems: Analysis and Validations

Multi-Objective Optimal Power Flow in Islanded Microgrids with Solar PV Generation by NLTV-MOPSO

Summary: This paper presents a novel optimization method for optimal power dispatch in islanded microgrids. The method considers both real and reactive power dispatch and optimally tunes the droop parameters of the distributed generators in the microgrid. The proposed method also takes into account multiple objectives, such as generation cost, emission, and voltage profile diversity. A new variant of the multi-objective particle swarm optimization algorithm, called NLTV-MOPSO, is proposed for solving the optimization problem. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through simulations and comparisons with other algorithms.
