Solution Processed PVB/Mica Flake Coatings for the Encapsulation of Organic Solar Cells

Summary: This study demonstrates the development of a cost-effective and environmentally friendly protective layer for organic solar cells based on P3HT. The use of a PVB/mica composite layer significantly improves stability under constant light irradiation, extending the lifetime of the OSCs by a factor of 9 compared to devices encapsulated with pristine PVB.
