A New Strategy for Improving the Accuracy of Aircraft Positioning Using DGPS Technique in Aerial Navigation

Kamil Krasuski et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a new mathematical algorithm to improve the accuracy of DGPS positioning by considering a weighting scheme based on factors such as baseline length, vector length error, and number of tracked satellites. The research method significantly enhances the DGPS positioning accuracy in flight experiments, with improvements ranging from 55% to 94% in Mielec and 63% to 91% in Deblin. The study shows that the highest positioning accuracy is achieved when using criterion II, based on the inverse of the square of the vector length error.
