Atomic layer deposition of Rh/ZnO nanostructures for anti-humidity detection of trimethylamine

Zishuo Li et al.

Summary: The design of metal/semiconductor hybrid nanostructures is crucial for the development of efficient chemical gas sensors. In this study, a highly sensitive gas-sensing material for TMA detection was designed by depositing Rh onto ZnO flower-like nanostructures using ALD. The sensor exhibited a fast response-recovery, excellent humidity resistance, and a low detection limit, indicating its high potential for reliable detection of sub-ppm TMA.

Indium selenide nanosheets for photoelectrical NO2 sensor with ultra sensitivity and full recovery at room temperature

Wei Zheng et al.

Summary: Indium selenide (InSe) nanosheets demonstrate excellent detection performance for toxic NO2 under UV activation, with high sensitivity, full recovery, and outstanding selectivity and stability at room temperature. The enhanced charge transfer and interaction between NO2 molecules and InSe caused by UV illumination contribute to the impressive detection limit of 10 ppb, one order of magnitude lower than without UV. This work provides new ideas for high-performance RT sensors based on 2D materials.
