Investigating Permanent Deformation of Recycled Asphalt Concrete Containing Waste Oils as Rejuvenator Using Response Surface Methodology (RSM)

Summary: The research findings indicate that permanent strain decreases with increasing RAP content in asphalt concrete, but the lowest permanent strain is achieved at a certain level of oil content for each RAP content. WEO results in lower strain than WCO in the mixture. An interaction effect was found between RAP content and oil type in asphalt concrete.

Rheological Evaluation of Modified Bitumen by EVA and Crumb Rubber Using RSM Optimization

Summary: In this study, EVA and CR were used as bitumen modifiers, and RSM was employed to design the experiment and evaluate the performance of modified bitumen at different temperatures. The optimal combination of 5.6% EVA and 3.9% CR was determined for improved performance properties of bitumen at high and low temperatures.
