This paper investigates the response of multilayered transversely isotropic poroelastic media under vertical rectangular moving loads using the extended precise integration method (PIM). The study derives governing equations, applies Fourier expansion and integral transform techniques, formulates solutions for multilayered media, and analyzes the impacts of various factors on dynamic response.
In this paper, we investigate the response of multilayered transversely isotropic poroelastic media under vertical rectangular moving loads by utilizing the extended precise integration method (PIM). Firstly, governing equations are derived based on Biot's formulation of porous media in the Cartesian coordinate system. Next, the Fourier expansion and integral transform techniques are applied to obtain the ordinary differential equations of a single layer. By introducing the continuity and boundary conditions of each layer, the solution in the transformed domain for multilayered media is further formulated. Then, the real solution is obtained by inverting the Fourier transform. Finally, the proposed solution is verified by comparing with existing solutions, and the impacts of transverse isotropy, anisotropic permeability, medium stratification and moving speed on the dynamic response are analyzed.
