Sb-based intermetallics and nanocomposites as stable and fast Na-ion battery anodes

Summary: Various approaches have been introduced to obtain Sb-based composites for high-performance NIB anodes, including amorphous C-containing Sb composites, Sb-based intermetallic compounds, and Na-inactive metal carbide and amorphous C-containing Sb composites. These composites showed highly reversible, stable capacity and fast rate capability, making them potential new anode materials for high-performance NIBs.
