Effect of Taylor dispersion on the thermo-diffusive instabilities of flames in a Hele-Shaw burner

Summary: This study examines the impact of Taylor dispersion on the thermo-diffusive instabilities of premixed flames, revealing its ability to significantly affect flame stability with a preference for promoting cellular instability over oscillatory instability. The analysis, conducted in a Hele-Shaw burner configuration, provides both experimental and theoretical insights into the interaction between Taylor dispersion and Turing-like instabilities in reaction-diffusion systems.
