Association between Triglyceride Glucose Index and Corrected QT Prolongation in Chinese Male Steelworkers

Thung-Lip Lee et al.

Summary: This study found that increased TyG index was associated with QTc interval prolongation among Chinese male steelworkers. Structural equation modeling identified various factors such as hypertension, obesity, lifestyle, white blood cell count, and liver function that may influence QTc interval through direct and indirect pathways. The final model explained 14% of the variability in QTc interval.
