Diagnosis and Evaluation of Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis CHEST Guideline and Expert Panel Report

Evans R. Fernandez Perez et al.

Summary: This analysis aimed to provide evidence-based guidance for clinicians to improve diagnostic decision-making for hypersensitivity pneumonitis (HP). Through a systematic review and the use of the PICO format, 12 evidence-based recommendations and 2 ungraded consensus-based statements were developed. It was found that the diagnosis of HP should employ a patient-centered approach, incorporating environmental and occupational exposure history and CT pattern assessment.
