An efficient Pd/Cu bimetallic cross-coupling catalysis for fluoroaryl halides and fluoroarenes is reported. The in situ generation of Cu nucleophile through rate-determining C-H activation of highly fluorinated aryls (>=4 F atoms) leads to high selectivity in cross-coupling reactions with minimal formation of homocoupling products.
