The width of hysteresis in the emergence of ES is determined by parameters such as alpha, interlayer coupling strength, and natural frequency mismatch between mirror nodes. The robustness of ES against changes in network topology and natural frequency distribution is tested, with the results extended to classical single networks with phase-shifted interactions.
