Surface generation in ultrasonic-assisted high-speed superabrasive grinding under minimum quantity cooling lubrication with various fluids

Anirban Naskar et al.

Summary: The hybrid grinding method using ultrasonic assisted grinding and minimum quantity cooling lubrication has shown significant improvements in grinding characteristics of difficult-to-cut super-alloys, leading to increased compressive residual stress. More lubricious lubricants can reduce resistance to vibration transfer, enhancing vibration efficiency.
