High energy-storage performance of lead-free BacoSr0.6TiO3-Sr0.7Bi0.2TiO3 relaxor-ferroelectric ceramics with ultrafine grain size

Qi Wang et al.

Summary: The lead-free 0.8BST-0.2SBT RFE ceramic, achieved through the addition of Bi3+ and increased Sr2+ content, effectively inhibited grain growth and resulted in high breakdown strength and low remnant polarization. The mutual conversion of polar nanoregions and ferroelectric domains at different electric field strengths led to high maximum polarization and low remnant polarization, enabling the ceramic to exhibit high energy-storage performance.

Novel NaNbO3-Sr0.7Bi0.2TiO3 lead-free dielectric ceramics with excellent energy storage properties

Tian Wei et al.

Summary: By partially substituting NaNbO3 ceramics with a relaxor ferroelectric, this study successfully improved the performance of energy storage materials. The introduction of nanodomains of the relaxor ferroelectric effectively hindered the generation of the ferroelectric phase, allowing the material to possess both large polarization strength and near-zero residual polarization.

High Energy Storage Performance of PMMA Nanocomposites Utilizing Hierarchically Structured Nanowires Based on Interface Engineering

Bing Xie et al.

Summary: By incorporating BT@SiO2@dopa NWs into the PMMA matrix, the discharge energy density and discharge efficiency of nanocomposites have been significantly improved. Both experimental and theoretical simulations have shown that the double core-shell structure nanowire fillers can effectively alleviate local field distortion, inhibit leakage current, and suppress remnant electric displacement, resulting in high energy density and efficiency. These findings are conducive to the development of high-performance film dielectric capacitor materials using PMMA-based nanocomposites for high energy storage density.
