Synthesis, characterization and charge transport properties of Pr-Ni Co-doped SrFe2O4 spinel for high frequency devices applications

Summary: Research has been done to synthesize spinel Pr-Ni co-substituted strontium ferrites with confirmed cubic structure and nanometer particle sizes. Changes in electrical properties were observed with increasing Pr3+ and Ni2+ ions content, showing enhanced resistivity and minimum dielectric losses.

Fabrication of highly resistive La-Zn co-substituted spinel strontium nanoferrites for high frequency devices applications

Summary: The synthesized La-Zn co-doped strontium nanoferrites show variations in dielectric parameters, DC resistivity, and AC conductivity with the concentration of La3+ and Zn2+ ions. Additionally, the frequency dependent behavior of dielectric parameters indicates different performance of the ferrite material at different frequencies.

Fabrication of reduced Graphene Oxide supported Gd3+ doped V2O5 nanorod arrays for superior photocatalytic and antibacterial activities

Summary: In this study, Gd-doped V2O5 photocatalysts were prepared using a wet chemical method, and the effects of Gd+3 substitution and RGO support on V2O5 were investigated. The Gd-V2O5/RGO photocatalyst demonstrated significantly higher photocatalytic activity under visible light irradiation compared to unsupported Gd-V2O5, attributed to the synergistic effect of Gd+3 doping and the advantageous properties of graphene.

Superior degradation of organic pollutants and H2O2 generation ability on environmentally-sound constructed Fe3O4-Cu nanocomposite

Summary: This study synthesized Fe3O4/Cu nanocomposite using Rosemary offcinalis leaves aqueous extract for the first time, which showed potential as a magneto-recyclable photocatalyst for efficient degradation of organic contaminants under visible light illumination. The nanocomposite exhibited a low band-gap suitable for visible light degradation, and the photocatalysts could be reused without significant reduction in degradation efficiency.
