Self-assembling thermostable chimeras as new platform for arsenic biosensing

Summary: The research focused on the immobilization of enzymes on nanosurfaces is crucial for biosensor development, with the study presenting two versions of chimeric proteins that showed promising immobilization properties and reactivity for detecting As(III). The results indicate that these chimeric proteins, when immobilized on gold electrodes, can be utilized as potential electrochemical biosensors for As(III) detection.
