Development of a cost-effective, recyclable and viable metal ion doped adsorbent for simultaneous adsorption and reduction of toxic Cr (VI) ions

Veer Singh et al.

Summary: The study demonstrated that iron-doped rice husk effectively adsorbs and reduces Cr (VI) into Cr (III), with optimal adsorption observed under acidic conditions and diffusion control. Iron-doped rice husk showed high regeneration capacity and the adsorption process was limited by film diffusion.
