Face mask versus nasal prong or nasopharyngeal tube for neonatal resuscitation in the delivery room: a systematic review and meta-analysis

Avneet Mangat et al.

Summary: The use of nasal prong/nasopharyngeal tube during positive pressure ventilation of infants born <37 weeks' gestation in the delivery room did not show significant differences in in-hospital mortality and morbidity compared to the use of a face mask.
