Effects of hypoxia stress on the intestinal microflora of juvenile of cobia (Rachycentron canadum)

Summary: The study found that hypoxia stress significantly altered the richness, diversity, and structure of intestinal microflora in juvenile cobia, resulting in significant changes in the relative abundance of specific bacterial genera. Hypoxia also increased the relative abundance of specific biomarker bacteria in the intestinal microflora of cobia.

The relative abundance of Firmicutes, Proteobacteria, and Bacteroidetes at the phyla level significantly increased in the high DON group, while Fusobacteria decreased. The dominant genera in high DON treatments were different from the control and low DON groups.
