Precise Nanosizing with High Dynamic Range Holography

Summary: This study introduces a new off-axis k-space holography method that significantly boosts the achievable dynamic range to up to 110 dB by imaging the back-focal plane of a microscope to project the scattering signal of all particles onto all camera pixels. Validation of the platform with detection and quantitative sizing of metallic and dielectric particles demonstrates its effectiveness, along with the ability to correctly size particles made from different materials through independent signal calibrations.
