Rapid and sensitive detection of Bisphenol A in water by LF-NMR based on magnetic relaxation switch sensor

Lei Huang et al.

Summary: A novel and accurate method for detecting Bisphenol A (BPA) in water was developed using an aptamer-functionalized magnetic relaxation switch (MRS) sensor. By optimizing the concentration of Fe3O4@SiO2 similar to Apt NPs, incubation times, and pH of the detection system, the sensor successfully achieved sensitive analysis of BPA with a detection range of 10 ng/mL to 100 ng/mL and a limit of detection of 2.9 ng/mL.

Discrimination of Bulk and Surface Refractive Index Change in Plasmonic Sensors with Narrow Bandwidth Resonance Combs

Fu Liu et al.

Summary: By reducing the thickness of the gold coating, the sensor can accurately distinguish between changes in surface and bulk refractive index, allowing for the measurement of small refractive index changes and preventing the drift of the medium's refractive index from affecting the measurement results.

Molecular Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Liver Fibrosis and Fibrogenesis Is Not Altered by Inflammation

Diego dos Santos Ferreira et al.

Summary: This study investigated the ability of two molecular MR probes to identify fibrosis in a mouse model of chronic liver disease. Results showed that both probes were specific for fibrosis regardless of the presence or severity of underlying inflammation, indicating their potential application for detection and quantification of fibrosis.

Molecular and cellular mechanisms of liver fibrosis and its regression

Tatiana Kisseleva et al.

Summary: Chronic liver injury results in liver inflammation and fibrosis, which can be reversed by eliminating activated myofibroblasts and resorbing the fibrous scar. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying liver fibrosis and its reversibility can lead to the identification of new therapeutic targets for liver fibrosis treatment.
