Clinical characteristics of Japanese patients with moderate to severe COVID-19

Summary: This retrospective study in Japan analyzed the clinical characteristics of 300 patients with COVID-19 and found that older age, more comorbidities, and higher body mass index were associated with severe disease. Laboratory data showed significant associations between lymphocyte count, CRP, LDH, and AST levels with disease severity.
