The Japanese Multidimensional Attitudes Scale Toward Persons With Autism Spectrum Disorders

Summary: This study aimed to develop a Japanese Multidimensional Attitudes Scale (J-MAS) to assess negative attitudes toward persons with autism spectrum disorder among typical Japanese persons. The factor model of the J-MAS was found to be fairly good and preferable to other language versions, indicating its validity for assessing attitudes toward persons with ASD among typical Japanese individuals.
