Specifically, a Break-Point regression using data from Clark County, Nevada treated marriages as the dependent variable and shutdown dates, income, and unemployment rates as independent variables. The results show that pandemic effects on destination weddings were short-lived and thus have important implications for planning and staffing decisions.
