To Dine, or Not to Dine on a Cruise Ship in the Time of the COVID-19 Pandemic: The Tripartite Approach towards an Understanding of Behavioral Intentions among Female Passengers

Aleksandar Radic et al.

Summary: This research establishes a theoretical framework with predictive power for intentions of female cruise passengers towards dining on cruise ships during the COVID-19 crisis by extending the theory of reasoned action, including the social servicescape and perceived health risk. The perceived health risk from COVID-19 appears to be the dominant factor discouraging female cruise passengers' behavioral intentions towards dining on a cruise ship during the pandemic.

The effect of coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) risk perception on behavioural intention towards 'untact' tourism in South Korea during the first wave of the pandemic (March 2020)

So Young Bae et al.

Summary: This study examines the impact of COVID-19 risk perception on untact tourism behavior intention. Results show that affective risk perception significantly influences attitude, while cognitive risk perception positively affects subjective norms. Affective risk perception has a negative impact on behavior intention, and attitude acts as a significant mediator between affective risk perception and behavioral intention. Gender and marital status partially moderate the relationships among the constructs.
