Solitary and periodic wave solutions of (2+1)-dimensions of dispersive long wave equations on shallow waters

A. A. Gaber

Summary: In this study, the (2+1)-dimensions of dispersive long wave equations on shallow waters, known as the Wu-Zhang (WZ) equations, were investigated using symmetry analysis. The system of partial differential equations was reduced to ordinary differential equations, and exact solutions including singular wave, kink wave, and anti-kink wave were obtained using the general Kudryashov method [2]. Figures were provided to demonstrate the properties of the solutions.

Solution for fractional potential KdV and Benjamin equations using the novel technique

P. Veeresha et al.

Summary: This paper finds solutions for fractional potential Korteweg-de Vries (p-KdV) and Benjamin equations using q-homotopy analysis transform method (q-HATM), with Caputo fractional operator considered. Numerical simulations validate the accuracy and reliability of q-HATM, showing its efficiency in solving nonlinear problems associated with science and technology. Interaction solutions to nonlinear partial differential equations via Hirota bilinear forms: one-lump-multi-stripe and one-lump-multi-soliton types

Xing Lu et al.

Summary: Interaction solutions between lump and soliton in nonlinear partial differential equations are analyzed using Hirota bilinear forms. The one-lump-multi-stripe and one-lump-multi-soliton solutions can be generated from combined solutions, and necessary and sufficient conditions for the two types of interaction solutions are presented based on the associated bilinear equations. Applications are made for various (2+1)-dimensional equations.

Backlund transformation, Pfaffian, Wronskian and Grammian solutions to the (3+1)-dimensional generalized Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation

Xue-Jiao He et al.

Summary: In this study, the (3+1)-dimensional generalized Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation was investigated using the Hirota bilinear method and symbolic computation. A bilinear Backlund transformation with four equations and five free parameters was constructed, and solutions in Pfaffian, Wronskian, and Grammian forms were derived using determinant properties. Soliton solutions as well as triangle function solutions were also obtained and plotted for specific parameter choices.

Summary: The study investigates the Zakharov-Kuznetsov Benjamin-Bona-Mahony equation and its generalized form using the sine-Gordon expansion approach to find various solitary wave solutions and establish new surface shapes. The results obtained through Matlab software demonstrate the effectiveness and power of the SGE method in analyzing nonlinear evolutionary equations in physical sciences and engineering.
