Summary: The renewed interest in the exploitation of local materials is driven by reasons such as low cost building materials, thermal comfort, energy consumption reduction, and lower carbon dioxide emissions. The study tested a bio-sourced composite material, raw earth bricks, stabilized with lime and mixed with date palm waste aggregates, which showed improved thermal insulation properties.
