Prevalence of using herbs and natural products as a protective measure during the COVID-19 pandemic among the Saudi population: an online cross-sectional survey

Amna Abdullah Alotiby et al.

Summary: The study found a significant increase in the use of herbs and natural products among the Saudi population due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with popular choices including honey, black seeds, lemon, and ginger. While most individuals were aware of the immune-boosting properties of herbs, they understood that these products do not provide protection against COVID-19. The use of these products was not significantly associated with socio-demographic factors.
