Recent Progress in Graphene/Polymer Nanocomposites

Short communication: Molecular architecture based on palladium-salen complex/graphene for low potential water oxidation

Summary: The electrocatalytic platforms based on palladium metallopolymer-graphene have been developed for the water splitting reaction, showing low potential for the water oxidation reaction and increased turnover frequency value. By investigating the interfacial phenomena, it was found that the introduction of graphene in the metallopolymer matrix changed the reaction mechanism. The new platform proved to be applicable for the water splitting reaction in fuel cells.
