Models base study of inclined MHD of hybrid nanofluid flow over nonlinear stretching cylinder

Nadeem Abbas et al.

Summary: The study focuses on the stagnation point flow of hybrid nanofluid with inclined magnetic field over a moving cylinder, using mathematical models and boundary layer approximations to convert systems of partial differential equations to dimensionless systems of ordinary differential equations for numerical solutions. The effects of physical parameters variation are depicted through graphs, and skin friction coefficient and Nusselt number are highlighted through tables. The main objective is to investigate the heat transfer rate on the surface of the nonlinear stretching cylinder, comparing the results of Xue model and Yamada-Ota model for the hybrid nanofluid. In both cases, velocity and temperature profiles are best compared to the decay results.

An analysis of a mathematical fractional model of hybrid viscous nanofluids and its application in heat and mass transfer

Rizwan Ali et al.

Summary: This study investigates the modeling of heat and mass transfer flow of hybrid nanofluid in water and engine oil, utilizing Caputo fractional power law derivative and Laplace transform technique. The results show that variations in fractional parameters alpha, beta, and gamma can control the behavior of the fluid, with water-based hybrid nanofluids having higher temperature and velocity compared to engine oil-based ones. Comparisons with previous results indicate good agreement in limiting cases.

Significance of Reynolds number, lower and upper rotating disks on the dynamics of water conveying graphene and silver nanoparticles between rotating disks

A. Mahesh et al.

Summary: The study focuses on the impact of increasing Reynolds number and stretching of lower and upper disks on the dynamics of water conveying graphene and silver between rotating disks. It was found that increasing Reynolds number improves the thermal field but reduces the tangential velocity. Additionally, entropy generation increases with stretching lower and upper disks, serving as indicators for decreasing Bejan number.

Effects of Variable Transport Properties on Heat and Mass Transfer in MHD Bioconvective Nanofluid Rheology with Gyrotactic Microorganisms: Numerical Approach

Muhammad Awais et al.

Summary: The rheology of MHD bioconvective nanofluid containing motile microorganisms was numerically investigated in this study, showing that bioconvection is achieved by the combined effects of a magnetic field and buoyancy force, with gyrotactic microorganisms enhancing the stability of nanomaterials. The study also considered variable transport properties and assisting/opposing flow situations, finding that the velocity, temperature, concentration, and bioconvection density distributions accelerate with controlling parameters related to variable transport properties, and heat and mass transfer rates increase with convection parameter and bioconvection Rayleigh number, respectively.

Time-dependent hydromagnetic stagnation point flow of a Maxwell nanofluid with melting heat effect and amended Fourier and Fick's laws

Muhammad Bilal et al.

Summary: In this study, the unsteady stagnation flow of a Maxwell fluid over a linearly stretching sheet under the influence of a magnetic field is analyzed using the homotopy analysis method. The impact of key physical parameters on velocity, concentration, and temperature is illustrated through graphs. Results indicate that higher unsteadiness parameter and melting heat coefficient lead to a decrease in velocity and temperature of the nanofluid, while the velocity slip parameter reduces the velocity profile and boundary layer thickness of the Maxwell nanofluid.

Heat and mass transfer analysis of MWCNT-kerosene nanofluid flow over a wedge with thermal radiation

Paluru Sreedevi et al.

Summary: This analysis compares the flow of Williamson nanofluid through a wedge occupied by carbon nanotubes with multiwalled nanoparticles in unsteady and steady magnetohydrodynamics Tiwari-Das model, using kerosene as the base fluid. Nonlinear ordinary differential equations are obtained from the governing partial differential equations using a similarity variable technique and are solved using finite element analysis, showing the impact of various pertinent parameters on velocity, heat, and concentration rates through graphs and tables. It is observed that the temperature increases as the nanoparticle volume fraction parameter rises in both unsteady and steady cases.

Numerical Treatment of MHD Flow of Casson Nanofluid via Convectively Heated Non-Linear Extending Surface with Viscous Dissipation and Suction/Injection Effects

Hammad Alotaibi et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the impact of heat absorption and suction on magnetohydrodynamic boundary-layer flow of Casson nanofluid on a nonlinear stretching surface. Numerical computations using Maple 15 software show the influence of control parameters on nanoparticle concentration profiles, temperature, and flow velocity. The results are in excellent agreement with previous studies, indicating an enhancement in heat and mass transfer rates with increasing power-index and suction parameters, while being reduced with higher Casson and heat absorption parameters.
