Summary: African-Americans have higher rates of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, leading to a need for culturally tailored caregiver programs. While initial results did not show significant knowledge increase, a more detailed analysis indicated success in changing caregivers' attitudes and behaviors towards the disease. The findings provide guidance for future interventions and enhancements to existing programs.
