Jia Jia et al.

Summary: Sparganii Rhizoma (SR), a traditional Chinese medicine, has been used for hundreds of years to treat gynecological disorders such as dysmenorrhea, abdominal masses, amenorrhea due to blood stasis, and abdominal distension. Through processing, SR can enhance its pharmacological effects. Research has shown that SR has various pharmacological activities, with potential for new drug development, but further research is needed on quality control, pharmacological mechanisms, and toxicological effects.
