Summary: This study aimed to determine if baseline neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) could predict early symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH), poor functional outcome, and mortality at 3 months after reperfusion therapy in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients. The meta-analysis findings revealed that higher NLR levels were associated with increased risk of sICH, poor functional outcome, and 3-month mortality in AIS patients receiving reperfusion treatments.
