Molecular docking and simulation studies of a novel labdane type-diterpene from Moluccella aucheri Scheen (Syn. Otostegia aucheri) as human-AChE inhibitor

Mina Doorandishan et al.

Summary: Moluccella aucheri Scheen, native to Iran and Pakistan, contains five phytochemicals including a novel labdane typediterpene and four known compounds. Among them, compound 1 shows strong binding affinity towards human-AChE enzyme, suggesting its potential as a natural inhibitor of hAChE enzyme in vitro and in vivo tests.
