Abundant exact solutions to a generalized nonlinear Schrodinger equation with local fractional derivative

Behzad Ghanbari

Summary: This paper aims to build exact fractional solutions to the generalized nonlinear Schrodinger equation with a local fractional operator defined on Cantor sets using a new effective methodology. The obtained results are studied through extensive numerical simulations, showing that the method used is simple yet efficient for determining exact solutions of the problem in the local sense. The solutions are also found to be practical for solving various classes of nonlinear problems arising in mathematical physics.
