In vitro and in vivo antidiabetic activity of Tamarix stricta Boiss.: Role of autophagy

Summary: This study evaluated the antidiabetic activity of the endemic Iranian plant Tamarix stricta, showing significant benefits in animal models of diabetes, including protective effects on cells and improvements in blood sugar, lipids, and liver function. Further studies are recommended to confirm the clinical use of this plant in treating diabetes.
