Multifaceted Roles of ICP22/ORF63 Proteins in the Life Cycle of Human Herpesviruses

Ying Wu et al.

Summary: Herpesviruses have evolved successful strategies to coexist with hosts and maintain lifelong infections. ICP22/ORF63 proteins play important roles in regulating the herpesvirus life cycle. Understanding the mechanisms of ICP22/ORF63 in virus-host interactions can provide insights into viral pathogenesis and offer new strategies for combating infections.
