Long noncoding RNA SNHG14 promotes hepatocellular carcinoma progression by regulating miR-876-5p/SSR2 axis

Summary: In this study, it was demonstrated that SNHG14 is highly expressed in HCC tissues, with elevated expression predicting poor prognosis. SNHG14 promotes HCC cell proliferation and metastasis. It functions as a ceRNA for miR-876-5p, regulating the expression of SSR2 in HCC. Experimental evidence shows that miR-876-5p inhibits HCC progression in vitro and in vivo, with overexpression of SSR2 or knockdown of miR-876-5p reversing the suppressive effects of SNHG14 depletion in HCC.
