Carbon dioxide-dependent signal transduction in mammalian systems

Summary: Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a crucial physiological gas that influences the behavior and health of many species. While there has been significant research in areas such as plant biology and neuronal sensing, there is still much to uncover about CO2-dependent sensing and signaling in biological systems. By focusing on key signal transduction pathways affected by changes in CO2 levels, future research can aim to better understand the complex physiological response to CO2.
