Differential expression and prediction of function of lncRNAs in the ovaries of low and high fecundity Hanper sheep

Summary: This study investigated the regulation of litter size in sheep through the analysis of differentially expressed long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in ovarian tissues. The results showed that lncRNAs in follicular and luteal phases are involved in different signaling pathways affecting follicular development and ovulation, as well as corpus luteum production and development. Highly expressed lncRNAs Xist and Gtl2 were found to mediate follicular development through methylation processes.
