Experimental investigation on energy and exergy analysis of solar water heating system using cobalt oxide based nanofluid

Summary: This study investigates the energy and exergy analysis of a solar water heating system using Cobalt Oxide (Co3O4)/Distilled Water nanofluid, with surfactant, to improve thermal conductivity. While the nanofluid enhanced the outlet temperature and energy rate, the surfactant had adverse effects on the thermophysical properties. The exergy efficiency reached its peak with 0.4 vol% nanofluid, showing improvements in system performance.
