Hsa_circ_001988 attenuates GC progression in vitro and in vivo via sponging miR-197-3p

Dan Sun et al.

Summary: In this study, Hsa_circ_001988 was found to be downregulated in gastric cancer patients and its inhibition promoted proliferation, colony formation, migration, and invasion of gastric cancer cells. Overexpression of Hsa_circ_001988 reversed these effects, suggesting a tumor suppressive role. Mechanistically, Hsa_circ_001988 modulated the EIF4A3/U2AF65-mediated Hsa_circ_001988/miR-197-3p/FBXW7 axis to inhibit gastric cancer progression.

LINC01232 Sponges Multiple miRNAs and Its Clinical Significance in Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma Diagnosis and Prognosis

Wenyan Du et al.

Summary: The study demonstrated that LINC01232 is upregulated in patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), and high levels of LINC01232 in serum could predict unfavorable prognosis. miR-204-5p, miR-370-5p, and miR-654-3p are proposed as potential targets of LINC01232 in PAAD, showing clinical significance in diagnosis and prognosis.
